Firstly, Happy Valentine’s Day to Jenn Sack, who has reluctantly agreed to be my Valentine for 2008. Even though she hates the holiday. You’re a trooper, sweetie!

The Republican National Committee, to commemorate Valentine’s Day and the sort of failed humor that got “The 1/2 Hour News Hour” cancelled after all of forty-five minutes, has made its own online Valentines poking fun at the Democratic hopefuls.

To save you some time, this is the sort of fair that they’ve provided:

Yeah, I know. It’s a great idea in theory, but in practice it came out pretty awful. Not awful as in offensive and demeaning, but awful as in offensive to people with an actual sense of humor.

Luckily, you all have a good friend in Kevin Marshall. And what kind of good friend would I be if I didn’t provide you all with Valentines to distribute through the internet featuring the stars of the 2008 Presidential Primary? A bad one, that’s what.
