Life Lesson for 10/17/2007

NOTE TO SELF – There are two musicians/singers by the name of Jimmie Rodgers (same spelling).

One was a great pioneer of country/bluegrass known as “The Singing Brakesman.”

The other was a pop singer in the late 50s/early 60s in the vain of Paul Anka and all that bullshit.

Please know the difference, even if only spending $1 on a used CD, and actually look at the image on the cover of said CD before committing to the aforementioned purchase.

kthx,

Me

I had a similar experience with a Flipper CD. it was definitely NOT the San Francisco punk band. Fortunately, I was able to return it and get something else.

Wait, what was it then? I was hoping you either accidentally picked up the soundtrack to the 60s TV series or the 90s Disney film remake.

By the way, was there EVER are more BORING FUCKING SHOW than “Flipper”? Seriously.
