Quick Facts:

* August 13th to August 31st – 2 days off from work; 10-12 hours each working day.
* I’ve been very tired.
* I have a three-day weekend coming up that can’t come soon enough.
* I haven’t been keeping up with the f-list, so it’d be safe to not assume I’ve learned of an important development in your life through it (call/IM/whatever).
* Randy Couture is still my goddamn hero and made Gabriel Gonzaga look like a damn fool.
* The Quinton Jackson/Dan Henderson Pride/UFC Light Heavyweight Title unification match is airing for free on SpikeTV in two weeks and will be shown in my living room. All reading are invited.
* Sorry Michael – strangling, drowning, and electrocuting dogs goes far beyond “immature” behavior. Remorseful my ass.
* thebigfatman and pgnblade closed on and moved into their house – YAY!
* 11/2 & 11/3 – myself, bpdermody, Misawa, Manhattan Center, New York City, ROH. I’m taking 11/2 off from work, maybe even extending that to Monday so I can see people. I will keep you all abreast, but know that this time I am DEFINITELY going to be in the City on those dates.

That is all.

    I just wrote about how amazing the Duck is. Seriously. I love the Duck and it’s all I ever want to write about in my livejournal. So you missed nothing in Maeve land.

    I’m going to try and convince the woman of the house that I need a plane ticket to NYC as a birthday gift this year. I want to see Misawa in person.

      You totally should, and get ahold of the aforementioned bpd (who’s organizing this whole thang).

        I’m doing what I can. This must be negotiated carefully, the way one would try and handle the Middle East, or Vince McMahon and Hulk Hogan.

        Henry Kissinger and Jimmy Carter are en route to Chicago to help negotiate as we speak.
