Party at Our Apartment Tomorrow (Saturday, October 16th) to Raise Money for Children’s Hospital at Albany Med!
To my friends who still read the personal blog,
It has been TOO LONG since I’ve had a party, so Steve and I throwing one at our apartment tomorrow night (Saturday, October 16th) starting at 7:00pm.
Steve is taking part in Extra Life to raise money for the Children’s Miracle Network. All monies raised go directly to the Children’s Hospital at Albany Medical Center.
To accomplish this task, Steve has pledged to play video games for 24 straight hours. Actually a pretty grueling task, and he’s gonna need our help to get through it!
So COME ON BY and BYOB…and a suggested (though not required) donation of at least $5. We can keep Steve company, cheer him on, and you can even challenge him. So BYOC (bring your own controllers) as well!
On October 16th, 2010 I’ll attempt to play video games for 24-hours straight, and I’ve asked you to come by in hopes that you’ll help me raise money for sick kids doing what I do best, rotting my brain with too many video games. Yes, God did not grant me much in the physical prowess department, so marathons and walkathons were always a little daunting. But with two opposable thumbs and a couple of bags of Doritos, I think I can make this one sacrifice. For the kids.
Thank you for your time, support, and participation.
If you can’t make it, you can donate online here – Donation Page.
Come on over, you guys! It’ll be fuuuunnnn
