On a Lighter Note, Leno Got Destroyed On the Air Last Night

Jay Leno, in an attempt to either show he’s a good sport or try to get Jimmy Kimmel back for doing an impersonation of Leno on his show, had Kimmel as a guest last night for his always atrocious “Top 10 at 10” segment.

I honestly think Jay thought he’d be quick enough to stick it to Jimmy, and that his passive-aggressive wording of questions and tone would throw Kimmel off. Little did he know that Jimmy, unlike Jay, has actually been trying the last few years and didn’t let his comedic mind slip into the doldrums of creative bankruptcy.

To put it lightly: Jimmy Kimmel absolutely destroyed Jay Leno on live television as Jay stammered his way through the whole ordeal and his own studio audience laughed at him and applauded Jimmy’s indictment of their host’s character.

Wow. I have a new found respect for Jimmy Kimmel.

    Hehe… he called him “Lucy.”

I thought he was borderline okay-funny, but he has a new respect in my eyes now.

Given his show, it’s easy to forget that Kimmel is actually really clever and actually, you know, funny.
