Because Y’all Need a Break…

A brief reprieve from events of late. Ladies and gentlemen, let’s revel in the ridiculousness that was that goddamn rapping French baby, Jordy.

Sadly, I think a good chunk of my readers are too young to remember Jordy, the froggy toddler who drove us all to the brink of madness with his hit “Dur Dur D’Etre Baby.” Depending on which group of scholars you believe, it translates from the French to mean “It’s tough being a baby,” “it’s hard having babies (and not always rewarding),” or “the French haven’t made any significant gains in art or culture since the Renaissance.”

In the below video, Jordy performs at…something…for a bunch of celebrities. I assume this was some sort of overseas Awards show, hence the inordinate amount of screentime given to a clapping French crooner whose name escapes me now.

Believe it or not, there are things happening in this clip that are far more interesting that that goddamn rapping baby, including but not limited to:
– Kenny G having the TIME OF HIS LIFE while watching this.
– Prince almost peeing his pants laughing and trying to hide the fact.
– Whitney Houston freaking right the Hell out, and I’m sure whatever she was cracked out on at the time didn’t help. Even funnier is watching her suddenly and inexplicably lose interest at the 2:00 minute mark.

As hard as it is being a baby, it’s even harder to watch ’em.

Do not use this power for evil, Mr. Marshall.
