Rumble, Birthday Surprise, UFC 81, more

Okay, before we begin, I logged onto MySpace earlier and nearly put my fist through the computer monitor when I saw this banner:

Firstly, Season 2 is already long over. And second-of-ly, Chance wasn’t even a contestant! OMG PPL R SO STOOPID

So we ordered the Rumble. It was actually a decent pay-per-view considering I hadn’t watched WWE in a few months.

The biggest shocker, though, was not John Cena coming in at number 30 and winning the whole thing, but me stepping out of the room momentarily and coming back to find a birthday cake and presents from roommates Steve & Peter.

The birthday cake. Edge poses on top of a ladder while John Cena shoves Randy Orton’s face into the frosting. It’s worth noting – and wholly appropriate – that the frosting Orton’s face is in is vanilla.

L to R: Orton, Cena, and Edge miniature figures. Note the frosting on Cena’s hand and Orton’s face.

Gift from Steve: The Ultimates 2 Vol. 1 (trade)

Gift from Peter: Splitting Ash & Deadite figures set (from “Army of Darkness”)

It was super awesome of the both of them. I already let them know but I might as well let them know again. Thanks guys!

As a heads up, a bunch of us are heading to Jillian’s next Saturday to catch UFC 81: Breaking Point. This is the UFC debut of former WWE Champion Brock Lesnar. His opponent, Frank Mir, sucks so much at this point that if I were Lesnar? I’d totally go for the F-5. I don’t know what’d be better – if he actually did it, or reading the reports on sites like Sherdog.com that say “Brock Lesnar def. Frank Mir in the 2nd via The F-5”.

Alright, enough dorkage for tonight. I have to head to bed while regretting the amount of cake and ice cream I ate.

More later…

Triple Threat Birthday Cake Ladder Match!

I meant to mention this in the blog, but in lieu of singing it to me, Steve and Peter chanted “HAP-PY BIRTH DAY *clap clap clap-clap-clap” like total ROH marks. Then they chanted “THAT WAS AWE SOME *clap clap clap-clap-clap*” after the candles were blown out.

Yes, Cap, you may retain that look of distraught for a bit longer.

#1- Is Chance a person? Sounds like a dog. What are you talking about?
