Four Amusing Items of the Day

Because I’m in an unbearably shitty mood today, and I need something to cheer me up.

‘What will your obituary say?’ at QuizGalaxy.com

I’m going to pretend that means The Legion of Super-Heroes, just so I can laugh at the idea of Karate Kid being consoled by Ultra Boy upon hearing of my untimely demise. Also because I’m obviously a huge dork.

Michael Flatley awarded millions from woman who falsely accused him of sexual assault. I find the idea of him having consensual sex with a woman (which he claims is what happened) ludicrous. Also, LORD OF THE DANCE

Wesley Snipes says that the feds and the mainstream media targeted him for tax evasion because they’re all racist. In the actual interview itself he takes the media specifically to task for harping on it and painting him as a “bad guy” just because he’s African-American.

Dude didn’t pay his taxes, that’s it. And you know, he acts as if there was this huge media firestorm around his arrest, but other than a couple blurbs it really wasn’t treated as a major story or given nearly as much coverage as he would like.

OTHER REVELATIONS: “Blade Trinity” would have done better if everyone wasn’t racist. Also, people can’t stand that he’s one of the most incredibly talented individuals on the planet.

Wesley Snipes. Yep.

From bpdermody:

Season’s greetings.

“uh oh, don’t let Primus in!” haha!

And great reaction to the Bing Crosby/David Bowie collab.

as appallingly bad as that xmas supergroup thing is at the end, it’s too bad that they pick on Phil Collins for doing something he’s actually quite good at.

Beavis & Butthead was a great show.

      SO great.

I think my favorite part was actually during the Leon Redbone/Dr. John video for their cover of “Frosty the Snowman.”

Butthead: “Weren’t these guys in Batman?”
