EAT IT, HASSELHOFF!

…the hamburger, that is.

David Hasselhoff’s daughters made a video of Hasselhoff drunk, shirtless, lying on the floor and trying to eat a hamburger.

Hasselhoff has admitted that the video is legit, and said that it was a brief moment where he fell off the wagon and that “relapse is part of recovery.”

Well, no.

Sorry, but I’m not one of those that’s going to shirk personal responsibility and talk about how alcoholics are COMPLETELY unable to resist drinking and therefore can’t be held responsible. No, there comes a point where you have to take responsibility and acknowledge that there’s a CHOICE that’s made whether to stay sober or whether to drink. That’s not to say it’s as simple as making a choice, but Jesus Christ, enough with the “I had a relapse and it wasn’t my fault and there’s nothing wrong with that” nonsense.

Also, how dare they refer to him as “Baywatch star” in the sub-headline rather than referring to him as “pop sensation”?

Don’t forget “savior of the free world.”

Turns out Waterworks is actually a cool place for Kareoke, I should not have convinced you not to go. Granted, you have to hear songs like “The Rose” being sung. But that’s charming in its own right. Just thought you should know!

You know, I have the misfortune to own one of his CDs. Sometimes gag gifts really can make one gag.

How dare you dismiss The Hoff so casually?

I hope it had the song on there that tore down the Berlin Wall.

I thought the video would be funny, and it was really just very sad. How old is his daughter?

      She’s 16.

I think I’d find it sad if the circumstances weren’t so damn odd – it turns out that at it was Hasselhoff himself who convinced her to start recording him drunk.
